Asher Update

My brother in PA had a problem with his feet and was career changed. We have heard from Asher's new family. It sounds like he has adjusted to them and them to him. The little boy Austin just loves Asher. So we are happy that everyone is getting along well. Take care...Dorothy and Kristen
Asher can still visit with his 1st family the Schwemmer's when his new family goes on vacation. I hope he is as happy as I am with my forever home. Isn't it funny his new human brother's name is Austin- just like his fuzzy brother.

Kingsley came to play

My brother came to stay for the weekend. And I got rid of Tresa- a bonus. We played all day long. We are just the same size and look a lot alike. He was a bit of a puppy pest. Mom said I was getting a little of my own medicine. I like to wrestle with him. He doesn't bite hard or have sharp puppy teeth.
Kingsley was so mellow & easy going. Mom said he could stay forever. I'd like that. We shared all my toys. He even found some toys I forgot we had. I miss him now that he's gone home. I guess we'll have to have more play dates before he goes to school in the spring.

My siblings are great!

Austin has progressed to his final phase (IV) at Leader Dog. It lasts 3 -4 weeks. This is the intense part for him. He could be assigned to someone and start the 4-week class by the end of February.

Andre & Aries are still at University of PAWS. Here are their updates:

Andre is staring to learn base behaviors that will transfer to specific tasks. He is a very eager dog and I enjoy working with him. I hope to have him matched with a client soon!
Aries is learning her tasks at a good rate. Her new favorite task is pushing the elevator buttons and push plates for automatic doors. She is also learning to turn light switches on and off.
I'm still doing my therapy dog work but love to show off my service dog tasks that Owen taught me. Everyone is very impressed with my skills. I love to do push plates and switches. It must run in the family. My favorite is take off mom's socks. I still have to be careful not to nip her toes in the process. I get so excited sometimes I forget to be gentle.
Also being an assistant puppy raiser is a full time job. I've got to keep Tresa in line! She's going to visit the Gray's and my 1/2 bro Kingsley is coming here for a visit. Mom will love her labby laker weekend. Well, back to my nap

New collar

Nothing special going on. I got a new collar for Valentine's Day. Mom thought I was kinda cute so we had a little photo shoot. I finally got my official ID and scarf to be a therapy dog. My little sis is growing fast. She's already 30 lbs and not even 5 months old. I'm only 47 lbs. Whoa she's going to be big. I like her a little more now that her baby teeth are gone. We really do love each other but I don't want know Mom to know that.
