Back to work

I'm back at home and my training is continuing. Mom got the report that I was shy and a little cautious at college. I was a little nervous of the nice man. Anyone that knows me knows that's not me at all. Maybe I wasn't quite ready for school. I've got lots of plans & good places to socialize until I meet my siblings at school again. I'm going to have more sleep overs away from home so I can get used to that too.I'm just glad to be back with my older brother Snickers. He acts like I'm a pest, but Mom saw him snuggling with me after I can home. I love to smooch him. He doesn't like all those kisses.

The PAWS Rollercoaster

Mom got a call today. I guess I did pretty bad on my sound testing work. I'm too little to be a service dog so they thought about career changing me. Then they thought maybe I need a little more time to grow up. so I'm coming home for the short term. My career to be decided later. Either way I'll be happy to be home with Mom & my brother Snickers. If I don't make it there is a long line forming to adopt me.
I don't think it will come to that. I know I'm destined for great things. No matter what job I choose. See you all soon!

Off to college

Well I'm off to school. Lynette gave me a ride to Grand Rapids. My brother Austin is going to meet there today. His family wanted to take the tour. I'm ready to start learning new things. The sad part is I had to leave my toys behind. I hope they have toys in college. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

The time has come

Mom got THE CALL today. I'm officially accepted to college. Julie wanted to take Austin and I up to HQ tomorrow night. That's not going to work out for either of us. I think early next week is the plan. I have to say goodbye & thank you to all my friends before I go. We're excited for a new adventure. Our parents are still getting used to the idea. This is my Big Bro Austin. All grown up.Mom is hoping to get a new baby at the end of September. I wouldn't want her & Snickers to be lonely without me. Disco & Wheatley just had pups so maybe one of their pups will come to my house. We have to wait to see who else is on the list ahead of us.

A New Sister

Today I met a new 1/2 sister. She is 9 weeks old and already almost 1/2 my weight. Her Daddy is also Laker. Her Mom is Courtney. Rumor is a much darker blonde than me. She has the same ears. I think she is going to be very tall. Right now she has very big feet and short stubby legs. Mom says she looks like a yellow Tank. That means she's going to be a strong smart girl.
I showed her around my hospital an told Rumor that she can take over visiting the Rehab when I go to college. She was a big hit already. Our Moms would not let us play with our capes on. No fun again! I can't get away with anything.

The high seas of Lake St. Clair

Mom is keeping me busy before I go to college. Tonight I went on an adventure with my Leader Dog friends.
My friend Mousse was there too. Her Mom & Grandma love lighthouses and have seen most of them in the state. That's a lot! We went on a boat ride on the lake. We saw & learned about lighthouses and the voyagers that lived in this area a long time ago.

I enjoyed the wind blowing in my face.

My ears were flopping in the wind.

I saw a stuffed duck & muskrat. I wanted to taste them mom said I could only sniff. Here I'm pretending not to look at that duck.

The sun was setting as we cruised back to Metro Beach. All the pups were very tired after the 3 hour boat ride.

W/C Daze

Here I am at another summer party. I met up with a few of my furry friends. We went on a boat ride. Just relaxed and visited.

Caper got to see his foster mom Sara again. He hadn't got to see her since he got his new forever family.

Caper got to see his brother Cooley too.

The babies Lightning, Nelson & Nobel were there.

Mom was playing with balloon flowers. I unfortunately was the model.
