My sore ear

Thursday night I got a very bad feeling in my ear. It itched and hurt and I couldn't get comfortable. We are supposed to go on a trip to see Grandma in the morning. I got to go to the vet first.

Dr Kayla put a plastic thing in my ears and I did not like it! I have an ear infection. I have to have drops and pills to eat. Most important no swimming or getting in the shower with Mom. A girl can't have any fun. I was supposed to go swimming in Lake Michigan this weekend.

Instead I stayed in the house and wrestled with Owen. We had a good time. I napped in grandpa's chair and snuggled with grandma. She didn't appreciate when I sat on her chest. It's hard to breathe that way. So we had a nice weekend after all. It was cold & rainy outside, but warm & dry at grandma's.

Swimmer

I finally found my lab roots and started swimming. I'm not afraid anymore. We went to a friend's house that had a pond in Richmond. I started on the baby section. I was so good I went to the deep end. Before we knew it I was jumping off the dock. Look out Lake Michigan--here I come.

Bay City Pig Gig

I went to see my friend Cisco and have some fun. I learned how to run agility. I practiced a few times to get the hang of it. It was fun. When the crowd watched & cheered I got a little more excitedI jumped off the side of the A frame instead of walking down the other side. Flying Aussie coming through! So no more agility that day. I got a little too excited.
The whole place smelled like ribs. Mom had some ribs called Aussom Aussie. They had stickers. Of course I had to have one. I got to lick her fingers when she was done. Tasty!We rested under the PAWS booth and I got some pets. I told people that even if you're not a college girl you can find the right job for you.Everyone likes my pink cape.

Back at home

We are resting from our trip to Traverse City. Grandma & Granda came down for a party and stayed the whole week. More time to play with Owen! Mac is growing like a weed. Are feet are the same size. Mom is on the computer again. Boring!Cookie?

My Birthday

Woo Hoo! I'm 2. Mom got me a happy meal for my special day. Mac was jealous because he only got a milk bone. I got fries and a burger. A very special occasion.Then Owen came over to party with us. Three Dog goodies were on the menu. We enjoyed them all!

Getting out

I haven't been getting out much since Mac came home. I put on my little pouty face on and it worked like a charm. I got to walk for puppies that don't have homes. It was fun. They had good cookies when we were done. I'm all about the cookies!Today we went downtown to the pooch-a-palooza. We walked by the river, had a pet-i-cure, massage & our photos taken. Then they had some contests. I won first prize for best trick! I took Mom's shoes and socks off. I do it all the time but the others were impressed. They had a fashion show too. I didn't enter cuz I already won once, but I supported my friends from the audience.

Play time

My new brother is fun to play with. Sometimes I have to sit on his head to keep him in line.

Mac got a tonka truck and a big chewing wheel. I think I'll teach him how to play with them first.
